As we near the end of the year and start to take stock of how we’ve developed in 2021 and how we plan to improve in 2022, I’ve been preparing to carve out a few quiet hours for myself to perform a little bit of a writing appraisal.

This is a relatively new process for my writing, but one that I do regularly for my business. I decided to tweak my normal appraisal documents to be a little more writing-specific. I realised that this little workbook might be quite useful for other writers who enjoy a little bit of periodic self-reflection.
